“Protecting Biodiversity”

As Miti Alliance we strongly believe in preserving biodiversity and preserving our rare and indigenous tree species.

With this in mind, in 2020, we set up our 2nd training center in Naro Moru, Mt Kenya Region, with the aim of planting rare and ingenious species and eventually building a seed bank of these precious species.

Seeds are a lifeline and a big part of building climate resilience.

So far we have planted over 120 rare, indigenous species and the list is growing.
