During our visits to schools we provide an average of 100 tree seedlings per school. These are a mix of 80 indigenous seedlings and 20 exotic tree species and this we have been able to do thanks to the partnership of Coopers Africa – Eco care.
We would love to plant more fruit trees in schools by establishing orchards as part of ensuring food security in the future.
Miti Training Centre
We also invite students, teachers and the general public for tours to Miti Alliance Nursery where they get to learn more about:
- Agroforestry
- Permaculture
- Tree nursery management
- Composting
- Organic pest control
- How to grow their own food
Seedballs
SeedBalls Kenya is partnering with a select few organisations that are active in conservation programs within Kenya.
SeedBalls can be purchased here and we will deliver your seedballs, of the appropriate species mix, to the recipient of your choice.
These organisations are eager to receive your donated seedballs and have committed with us to distribute them within their areas of activity that have the greatest need for reforestation.
