Miti Miyawaki Forests
“Restoring Ecosystems Faster”
This initiative focuses on restoring degraded landscapes and enhancing biodiversity using the Miyawaki Method – a proven approach for creating fast-growing, self-sustaining native forests.
We work in collaboration with schools, communities, corporates and county governments to transform idle or underutilized spaces into thriving green zones that double as learning hubs and biodiversity hotspots.
Our goal is to inspire a movement of urban and rural reforestation – proving that even small plots of land can make a big difference for the planet.
Through this program, we design and plant dense, indigenous micro-forests that replicate natural ecosystems, restoring soil health, capturing carbon and supporting local biodiversity within a remarkably short time.
Each forest is uniquely designed to reflect local ecology and community needs, ensuring long-term environmental and social impact.
We restore ecosystems by designing and planting dense, native forests in both small and large spaces using the Miyawaki technique. This approach emphasises the use of diverse native species, which helps mimic the structure and biodiversity of natural forests. As a result, these forests transform into thriving “super forests”, enhancing ecological resilience and beauty within just a few short years!
