Our Programmes
One movement, four ways to grow it.
From the classroom to the forest floor, every Miti programme is built to do more than plant a tree — it teaches someone to keep it alive. Explore how we’re restoring Kenya’s landscapes, one school and one community at a time.

Miti Schools Programme
Shaping mindsets, one classroom at a time.
We partner with public and community schools across Kenya to give children hands-on environmental education — and the trees, tools and training to put it into practice.

Miti Kitchen Gardens
Growing food, nurturing communities.
A kitchen garden is one of the simplest ways to keep a child in school: it puts a reliable, nutritious meal on the table every day.

Miyawaki Forests
Restoring ecosystems faster.
Using the Miyawaki method, we plant dense, multi-layered native micro-forests that grow up to ten times faster than conventional planting — turning bare school and community land into thriving forest in a matter of years, not decades.

Miti Museum
A living seed bank at the foot of Mt Kenya.
Miti Museum is a 4.3-acre living tree museum and eco-centre in Naro Moru, Nyeri County — home to more than 180 rare and indigenous tree species, a thriving Miyawaki forest, and a working demonstration of regenerative living.
Be part of a lasting change
Fund the next forest, garden or classroom.
Every gift goes directly to a specific, budgeted need — a water tank, a fence, a season of seedlings, a forest. Choose a school below, or fund what's needed most.
