The Miti Schools Programme brings 40-minute lessons and field expeditions into partner schools, covering conservation, biodiversity and climate change in a way children can see and touch \u2014 not just read about.<\/p>\n<p>Every partner school gets support to plant fruit and indigenous trees, set up a tree nursery, and establish a kitchen garden and orchard, backed by teacher training and a full year of monthly follow-up visits from our field team.<\/p>\n<p>Since we began, the programme has trained teachers, launched environmental clubs, and put trees in the ground with the help of the very children who will watch them grow up.<\/p>\n<p>We work with county education authorities and school administrators to identify partner schools, and with corporate and institutional partners \u2014 including I&amp;M Foundation, National Bank, Prime Bank, Equity Bank, Bank of Africa, Citi Bank and the Kenya Forest Service \u2014 to fund and deliver each school&#8217;s programme.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243;
